Our first two days of vacation included a lot of driving, but we got to break it up some. On Saturday we left NWA around 11:30 am and headed towards Frisco, TX. We only had to make three stops on the way, which isn't bad considering we were traveling with kids! We got to visit some friends of ours, Richard & Julie, and have dinner with them. Julie & I met each other in college and have done a pretty good job staying in touch....one of those friends that you can talk to once every few months and pick up right where you left off! Julie (and Richard) made a delicious dinner for us and then came over to our hotel to swim with us.
The pool had a small 1 1/2 foot pool that the girls like to splash in. That's #2 hiding behind the duck!

#1 though it was really cool that the pool changed colors....blue, green, purple, red, gold...
Richard and Ryan hung out poolside and took pictures of us girls in the pool.
Richard & Julie bought the girls some bubble toys. #2's toy is a fan hooked up to a bubble wand that has four holes, so it makes A LOT of bubbles! You can see some of them in the background in the picture above. The other kids at the pool had a good time trying to catch all of the bubbles. #1's toy makes giant bubbles....I wasn't able to get a good picture of her using it...she is still trying to get the hang of it.
